back at it.

I have not been running since November. So yesterday, I decided to wake up and go for a short run. It was really tough! I loved it though, and now that the weather is warming up I am going to try and go more often. I am going to allow myself winter off from running each year. It probably makes things harder to get back into, but if I give myself permission to stop running during the coldest months, then I won't beat myself up each time I skip running. Anyway, that is my plan. Run from March-mid November. Then do something indoors for the other four months.

Hayden's last game.

Hayden loooooves basketball. However, his team...they were not winners this year. They beat one team, and one team only. They did however, improve game after game. Hopefully this summer we will be able to put Hayden in the Utah State Basketball camp so he can learn some sweet moves.

The four walls go up.

The BC Temple is starting to take shape! It is so cool to drive by and see the progress that is being made.

Messy Baby.

Maggie has hit the 'Messy Baby' stage. You know, where you give her a cookie and it somehow gets smeared into wet ick all over her face. Yes. This is a love/hate stage. However, just check out how happy her little face is, eating her cookie and celery. And guess what? She cleans up spic and span. :)

Jogging Stroller...

For months now I thought...if I only had a jogging stroller I would get back into running. Well I found a great deal on a BOB jogging stroller. I believe they retail for right around $300, and I got mine for $120...Thank you CHRISTENSEN'S in Brigham City!!! They were having some sort of crazy deal on them. Before I made the purchase I went home and did some research on them, and they are every bit as good as they say they are. Now I can't wait to have it get just a titch warmer so that I can strap Maggie into it and go for a run.

Here is a pic of the one i got...

Jazznation!

Hayden and I were VERY lucky to get tickets the the Jazz game a few weeks ago. My friend Joe Sako and his wife gave us the best seats EVER!!! 13th row!! We took some good advice from my boss, Joe, and arrived there early enough to meet a few of the players. Even Coach Sloan! He was my favorite. Just like you would expect him to be, slightly crusty, funny, and great with the kids. Hayden told me, "This is the best day of my life mom." We had such a good time, and Hayden loved each and every minute of it. We worked hard on our dancing moves and made it on the JumboTron, kind of a little dream of mine. After the winning game was over with we headed back to Ogden via frontrunner. AKA the Victory Train! Hayden was a trouper and kept me awake on the drive from the station to home by repeating each and every amazing play of the game. Thanks SAKOS!!!
